28 Day Plank Challenge. You In?


Want To Get It Together For 2024. It Begins With A Plank.

You all know that I am the real deal when it comes to fitness. My routine is tight and consistent. However, my eating needs work. Even with a 7-day weight lifting and cardio routine, I managed to go past my goal weight into a zone that puts me at serious risk for all the things I work so hard to prevent.

To help me get back on track, I decided to run a new wellness challenge, every month, from now through 2024. Some will be fitness related. Others are simple lifestyle improvements.

Did you know that busy-ness, stress, and even clutter can contribute to behaviors that often lead to weight gain?

That's my story, but it will be a short one because starting NOW, I intend to do something about it.

The first challenge.

Below is 28-Day Plank Challenge. Every day for the first week, I am adding a :30 second plank to my fitness routine. If it's a rest day, then the plank will be part of my sun salutation or wake-up routine.

Join me.

Accountability is the key to consistency. Choose a partner, spouse, child, or friend to hold you accountable. You can even post your progress to social media. Maybe it will motivate someone else.

Note: If lying on the floor is a challenge, you can practice your plank standing in front of a wall, leaning in, activating the core, and holding the pose for the suggested time. It's not easy, but it's a simple move that will make a world of a difference.
